PBL staff has risen to the challenge to support the Foundation with 75% of staff participating in the Payroll Deduction Program.
Foundation Chairman Robin Niewold asked staff to “care a little more” and donate to the Foundation while speaking to staff at the all-district meeting before classes began in August.
Niewold explains, “Why do busy people get busier? Because of their reputations! Your reputations for caring for our students tells us we can count on you!”
Enrolling in the program is simple for staff. They fill out a form allowing a certain amount to be taken from each paycheck or to make a one-time donation.
Over the course of the 2018-19 school year PBL staff has pledged to donate an estimated $5,800 to the PBL Education Foundation. The Foundation would like to thank the teachers and staff for their commitment to education and contributions to help the district’s students succeed.
