The PBL Grant will not be awarded during the 2013-2014 school year.
The PBL Grant money may be used for programs, equipment and supplies. The Foundation will award one $2,000 grant to a school building. This grant must be applied for by the building’s School Improvement Team.
The Foundation will award funding to the PBL School District for selected proposals. Grants are expected to be completed within one year from the grant award date. PBL Grant evaluation and community-wide sharing of the results will be part of the process. The Foundation would like to be notified when you are doing activities for which grant money was used so that someone from our organization can come to take photos for the newspaper.
Priorities will be given for:
- Student achievement, language arts, math, social science, science, fine arts, health/P.E.
- Professional development
- Community partnership
- Innovative/creative projects
- Interdisciplinary approach/number of students impacted by the grant
