Caleb Pulley, son of Brian and Ginny Pulley of Gibson City was recently named the Farmers-Merchants National Bank scholarship winner for 2017. The award was presented by Nicholas Ruetter of FMNB.
Pulley, a student of the year his freshman and sophomore years, and math student of the year his sophomore and junior years, was active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, SADD, Scholastice Bowl, Band, and Jazz Band. He was a 4-year starter on the Soccer team and participated in Club soccer for 3 years.
Pulley’s community service includes three years as a food pantry volunteer and participation on three mission trips. In addition, he has been active with the GCBC High School Youth Community Service organization. He also has work experience as a Ford County Youth Soccer Club Referee and as a lifeguard at the Gibson City Pool.
Pulley plans to study Mechanical Engineering at Southern Illinois University this coming fall.
